The Reclamation Unit

 

The Reclamation Unit is a must-have with Bob's vaporizers. The evolution of the Reclamation Unit is evident in this image; the smaller earliest unit is on the left, and the latest is on the right. The wood colors here look different in each unit, and yet they were all cut from the same piece of Honduran mahogany.

The Reclamation Unit (RU) is a most convenient way to collect and discard spent tobacco. You simply put the bowl end of the stem into the RU and blow the spent tobacco in. The top portion is removable, for easy disposal.

The term 'Reclamation Unit' was coined by its inventor, Charles, who noticed that tobacco that has been used in the Flash Evaporator or Pneuma vaporizing inhalers looks pretty much unused. I.e., there is no browning or discoloration of the tobacco, so Charles figured you could collect it and mix it with good stuff then sell it at full price, thereby reclaiming it. That is only a joke, of course, but it indicates how well these vaporizers work: there is NO browning of the tobacco.
